Lucidor: ebook reader
Today I came across this software called Lucidor - a free software to manage and read ebooks. It runs on Linux/Windows/Mac platforms, released under GNU General Public License.
Reach Lucidor by following the link to download and install the application. The homepage of Lucidor would look like the screen shot shown below:
The Bookcase option lets you keep a collection of e-books. You can browse through the catalogs or browse the web to find your e-book. The catalog supports OPDS format. You can also open and read an e-book located anywhere in your computer.
There is nothing complex about this software and the interface makes it very easy to use too.
Lucidor supports firefox themes and if you need you can use different graphical themes to change the look of this software.
Features:
· Easy to use interface
· Supports EPUB format
· Bookcase allows organized book keeping
· Search the web for e-book
· Convert web feeds into e-books
· Change the font size
Lucidor free e-book reader helps you to organize and manage, search and download e-books to enhance your online reading experience.
There is also a Lucidor e-book reader extension for firefox called Lucifox and an e-book catalog system called Lucicat.
