Quick Restore Maker: Creating restore point

It’s an everyday process for me to try out new software and as a good measure I used to set restore point before installing most of these tools.

A restore point is a feature that will let you set a save point to revert back to a previous state of installed programs. This comes really useful when you want to revert back all the changes done to your system after a particular point of time.

If you are a Windows user you know that there is no quick and easy way to create a restore point. One will have to play around with the Control Panel and it takes multiple steps to reach the System Restore window.

Quick Restore Maker is a tool launched by The Windows Club. This is a simple free software to create a restore point in 1-click.

Quickrestore1

Reach Quick Restore Maker and download the .zip file. Extract it and pin the executable file to the start menu. Now when you want to create a restore you will just have to run this utility and your restore point will be created as ‘Quick Restore Maker Generated’.

But it’s a limitation if all your restore points are named as ‘Quick Restore Maker Generated’! Then you may need to download Quick Restore Maker v2b customizable. Now you can name your own restore point.

Another commonly used software to create restore points is Comodo Time Machine.
