Add tweets to all web pages:
Twitter is one of the fastest growing social networking that keeps you up to date with your friends, family and co-workers on 140 characters.
Now there is a cool and handy free add-on from Kosmix to add tweets to all the web pages that you surf through.
How it works:
Tweetbeat Firsthand is a light weight browser plugin. It comes for both FireFox and Google’s Chrome browser. You can install it by following the link.
Once you install it, you will start seeing a small blue twitter icon next to people and groups mentioned in the web page you are in. Just hover over that icon and it will bring you real time Twitter updates from them.
Tweetbeat Firsthand automatically detects the people and ID’s of Twitter users from everywhere around the web and displays them with their recent updates on a mouse over.
Below is a screen shot of this web page after installing Firsthand.
Be it politics or news or sports web site, you will get to find an overlay of three most recent tweets from the people/groups in that page in their own 140 characters. For example, if you have this add-on installed and visit any World Cup article you will see real time updates from sports people, players and other celebrities mentioned in that page.
Conclusion:
Firsthand is a fantastic add-on exploring the real time power of twitter? Check it out for yourself.
